yesterday i went to phones4u to see how much a 128mb msd would cost for my nec 313. The guy asked me what phone it was for, so i told him. he insisted that the phone does not take mem sticks. after 5 minutes of argueing i pulled out my phone and showed him the cover of the msd slot with the words MEMORY STICK DUO printed on it he said "er, er, er we are out of stock."
so i left walked down the road to dixons and got a 128mb msd for £45.
My point is why do these people talk if they dont know what they talking about? All i wanted was a price, does it matter what phone its for? if im so stupid i dont know if my phone takes msd's then thats my problem!

All of my experiences with Phones4U have been bordered on farcicle. I have found that they can do you some good prices on phones as long as you dont want to talk to someone who knows what they are talking about. I bought a T68 from them about 6 months after they came out and the manager insisted the phone didnt have bluetooth (he admitted that he didnt know what it was). Dont expect any kind of customer service from them as they have been rude to me when I went in with a faulty phone.

These places are all the same, I mean, they send their employees on a training course, right? Do they not teach anything about phones, is it purely on selling? I mean, one day to explain the fundamentals! It would help!

They are just not getting it, that if they would make you happy you would come back for more. If they think there are enough suckers out there for every day, they are wrong. One day they gonna run out of suckers.

A while ago i went to phones4u (in bluewater) to get my k700, i went in there to get a contract and k700i the guy tired to sell me a £40 a month contact (o2) plus £80 for the k700.
I said to the guy could'nt i have a cheaper contract and he told me yes but that would mean the price of the handset goes up (which i new) so i said ok how much would the handset cost on one of the cheaper contracts and he said the handset would be... about £450!!!
I told the guy that is stupid as (at the time) i could get a sim free k700 for about £280-£300.
After i said that he got all arsey and then just blanked me and went to talk to some other sucker!
So off i went to the link, they were'nt that helpful but had the phone in the magazine and on display, when i asked about it i was told its not been released yet???
Off i went again to the CPW, sore the k700 asked the staff (a very helpful lad) about it, off he went into the back and brought out the phone and sold it to me for £59 on a £13.99 a month contract
So for phones4u i have to say... YOUR CRAP!!!

Just don't get the Phones4U insurance.
Tried to get my girlfriend to pay the excess on a phone that was still under warranty for a warranty repair.
Very clever
