Hi all, i sent an email to Vodafone Regarding the Branding and MP3 Features.. i am pleased to report the following responce.

It gets us that little bit closer! and as i raised the issue of the MP3 capability maybe they changed this in the update? i have replied to them asking this.

I think u may be gettin ur hopes up to soon there mate. They said they're planning a f/w update but surely if it was going to enable MP3 they'd have told u so. But, we shall see

never trust vodaphone. do they expect they can make it up with releasing new software that will alow MP-3? people have bought there K700 monhts ago, and thx to vodaphone they can't use the MP-3 function.

Dear Mr Collins,
Many thanks for your email.
Unfortunately the MP3 has been disabled at present due to copyright
laws. You will find over the next up and comming months that the service
will become availble via Vodafone live where you'll be able to download
a variety of music to the handset.
Hope this clears up the matter.

Copyright laws. Idiot's. I would be happier if I could even use to MP3 the phone came with. That ring ring ring one is great.
My latest reply is them asking me to call them, so much more enjoyable moaning at some one one the phone rather than email.

ringtone on the Sony Ericsson handset please contact our Helpline on 191
from a handset or 08700 776655 (Payt)/ 08700 700191 (Contract) and choose
option 4 then 2.
