i know this is a sony ericsson sit and i'm sorry for even asking but due to the long wait for the s700 i'm running out of options to upgrade at the end of the month. looking at the nokia its a symbian phone too which offers much more functionality and new programms. the thing is i played with a mates k700 and was actually disapointed at how the camera jerks arond when framing up a picture and it seemed very poorly built. after loving my t68i and mca20 then my t610, i swore sony ericsson was the way to go and wouldn't even look at at another make of phone agaon. But the 7610 is tempting me? what are anyones views on the 7610 ? (i know nokia , blokia, crapia etc....that i'm bound to get but....)

@carlcarlson - After having acquired both units during the recent past, I can categorically state here that the SE K700/i fone model outbest the Nokia 7610 by almost the slightest of margins - a hairline at that! Had the K700/i fone model been launched out in the market with no bugs and perfect battery performance consumption, I can say it again, that it can just outbest the SE P900 at that mate! My choice here is definitely the - SE K700/i fone model! Glad to have you here at esato by the way and Good Luck pal!

To enlighten your thoughts more about the SE K700/i fone model, might as well browse the threads which makes features of that model - feedbacks, pros, cons and all that! Happy hunting!

With no doubt the symbian nokia is better! And you forgot it has a 1 mp camera too! And i think it's price too is higher.

The Nokia 7610 wins in almost every software aspects but only if you are an advance user. To me K700i is a damn nice phone which has all functions I really want to have. It just lacks in the memory part which is very, very pity, otherwise this would be an even bigger hit. The reasons why I wouldn't pick a Nokia 7610 are due to the extremely ugly design (my opinion), pretty poor display, its size and the higher price tag.
