it wont open , when selected from the apps list .... it tries and then just returns to the list . ive used it loads before without a prob ???? any other good browsers i can try ? also how do i see the drive files when using the p900 service menu ... can u delete bits .. ive heard that parts of deleted files sometimes remain in the drive .... can u remove these using the p900 ???

Try uninstalling and installing again. If that does not help a master reset might be necessary if you are ready to install all apps again.

I have Opera installed, but am only able to access it via my LAN when I'm connected with my PC with bluetooth or cable. When I try to use GPRS, it just doesn't connect. As a result, I have to use the P900's built in Internet browser. Is there any setting in preferences I have to change?

The service menu is overrated. It is more or less all information, but does not let you do cool things or calibrations or other useful stuff. I did a master reset on my P900 and if freed up memory. OK you have to redo your settings, but you end up with more memory than before.
