-Bluetooth handsfree profile
-HTML email
-better internet browser
-MS Duo Pro support
-other things I've missed

Anyways it's nothing that SE couldn't include in the next firmware, but it will probably never happen

He says : "The 128MB MS Duo size limitation is SOFTWARE-based. I am now happily using a 256MB MS Pro Duo card in my P900."....

But how can that fit into the small slot?. Isnt the MS Pro Duo bigger?

Reminds me of the P800 - P900 conversions until everyone figured out it would be much easier to just buy the real thing. This conversion won't be possible through in-house practices without the proper tools. It does dispell a lot of theories about the 128mb limitations which I vehemently illlustrated was software driven. It's amazing the amount of threads that were created where several 'geniouses' argued that the limitations were hardware driven when the memory stick duo pro protocol white papers alluded to its conversion as being made possible through firmware upgrades. I know I wasn't the crazy one . Nonetheless, it would be a cool alternative for those that are too cheap to just buy a P910. Bad camera on the shoot though. A tripod coulda help. Reminds me of the cinematic camera work of the Blair Witch Project.

Are you saying that even if SE itself allows for a update to the P910 s/w through its website, we wont be able to use cards greater than 128MB?..

I am slightly confused with this "Fighter" stuff. What is it? .. How is it different from the SE update service?

If you do this you obviously loose warranty, so in case somethings goes wrong in that year (not even necessarily FW related) can you just load the p900 FW from official SE site and overwrite the p910 FW?
