Right: search in addressbook is selescted
Down/up: same as an ordinary move upwards and downwards

Thanks for the tip.
I found out that holding the joystick to the left takes you to the first shortcut in the sortcut list. I use this to easaliy start writing a new SMS.

Instead of using the joystick in the menu you also can use the Numbers for fast access to the diffrent menus ie. #1 will open the phonebook #2 Masseges #3 Calls #4 Games and background etc.

Another one I think I posted it somewhere in the forum is when you are reading SMS you can use (*) for Page Up and (#) for Page Down instead of scrolling line by line.

Just a quick 'thankyou' for bringing this to my attention. I text-message quite a lot, and being able to write a new message simply by holding my joystick to the left is a joy!
