Do orange heavily \"lock down\" their phones and restrict use of other wap sites? Does their branded firmware affect the phone operation at all? This message was posted from a T610

Or better, go to an Orange shop (you'll recognize it, it is all orange outside and inside) and play a bit with there orange branded phones. If you don't like it, or dislike the orange colour in general, just look for an unbranded one.

I often wonder why anyone wants to use a branded product, surelly you can get the origional just as cheap somewhere else.
I have a Vodanized sharp GX10i, got it for free, but I wouldn't ever buy a branded one.

I am on orange u k and dont seem to be restricted to certain wap sites i can even surf web sites via my wap connection . Only site i have trouble with is hotmail but i think thats down to them and wanting money for mobile access hope this helps This message was posted from a Nokia
