> Scratched Screen Protector
Bookmark topic
Friends, I have an annoying recurring problem with the screen protector on my P800. Apart of it (lower right) always ends up scratched, every other part is ok. I have tried so many screen protectors (average one every 3 weeks!) that I've lost tracked of all the brands I've tried. I innitially thought it could be bcoz that I focussed all my stylus writing on that area, but thats not the case as I write all over the screen. When I removed the screen protector, the screen looks to be in mint condition, so its not the screen. Anyone has any idea why this happens and why only one part of the screen protector is affected?. Pls help

Hi.. have you tried the screen protector from
http://www.NuShield.com ? They have a three-pack, usually lasts a year. As far as scratching only one side is concerned, is that where you usually use handwriting recognition?

Do you frequently use your phone with the flip closed? Maybe you have a keypad contact that is no longer smooth and is scratching the touch screen everytime you press it. A rough keypad contact and a wobbly flip can get your screen/protector pretty banged up.

Thanks for the feedback, to answer some of the questions asked, no I dont use the flip mode (I took it off after one week and has never attached it since) and I dont write on only one part of the screen (in fact I try and avoid the scratched part in case it gets worse). As for NuShield, I think the shipping and all that might be costly and is a hassle just to get screen protectors. It cant be possible that all the screen protectors in Malaysia are screwed up, I think there must be a fundamental problem. Any other ideas would be appreciated, thanks.

Try Akiko, it's a Japaness brand. I've use it with my P900 for abt 6 month already.
