I am having trouble with my two year old T300.During a call,there is crackling sound,after which signal strength disappears.Any attempt to make call or receive call is not possible,as there is continuous drool kind of sound.Phone has to be switched off,and switched on again to make it functional.
Help will be highly appreciated.I tried cleaning up phone,but that did not help.

I was gonna say, fw update, but in your case, it must be a hardware failure. Dont attempt to do anything radical, just take it to a se service centre and get it fixed. They might charge you though, as you are out of your warranty.
Atleast that is my opinion.
