Hi,
I have the latest fw installed in my phone. Supposedly it is now possible to suppress that silly shutter noise while taking a picture. How do one do that?

Turn your speaker volume down to zero and that should do the trick.

Thanks, but that's not satisfying, You've got to have a phone call first to lower the volume and then take pics.
Weird that Ericsson did'nt do anything better.

The problem these days is that everyone can run around and take pictures of anyone and do what ever thay want with it.
By having the shutter noise the "victim" has a chance to "defend" them self.
I agree that there should heve been an option to turn it on silent, for use in places where the sound of a camera is interupting. Churches during weddings for instance. But what I just said is the answer I got when I asked
about it some time ago.

Anyway, SE could have chosen a "nicer" sound. Not like someone being smashed!
