> PC Suite release 3.0.0 - Does it work?

Hi!
I reinstalled my pc today. and instead of pc suite 2.4.1 I found the new 3.0 on SE website and installed that one...
But it does not work very well.
When connecting the phone the sync begins but the progress bar does not move on any object (I sync with Outlook 2002).
On some objetc it says "Synk not initiated" and on some other it says "Initiating".. but nothing happens.
So I tried to sync just one object at a time to find out if any of them was causing the error.
Synked only mail = Went OK
Synked only contacts = OK as well.
Synced calender = Nothing happend.
Synced Notes = Nada sync.
Synced to-do = nothing there either.
Bah. when will I learn to not use a x.0 release of an software.
Also noticed that thoose things that works to sync takes veeery loooong ime to complete.
I'll think im going back o the old version. Feels like this one not was ment for P900.

YES it works fine with a p900 ...seems a bit quicker at connecting to sync station aswell ...also sis files icon has now change to a picture of phone (and sis file )..have not tryed with syncronise as i dont use this

hmm. then I must try again.
What I will do is to first install 2.4.1 and then upgrade (It says on SE web that 3.0 primary is an upgrade.. strange though becuse the 2.4.1 for swedish is not possible to download anymore, so an upgrade should not be needed).

it works perfecty for me. sync with Outlook XP correctly. Actually I have Outlook 2003 not Outlook XP.

I'm experiancing performance problems on with syncing. My first sync took 5 mins and I don't sync mail or historical calandar entries. Future syncs take 2-3 times longer than the previous version, it just hangs on 'initialising'. I'm running Win Xp with Office 2000 SP3 and a P900.

One thing PC Suite 3.0 does is change all your shortcut names to 910i (of course) so be sure to change them all back to P900/800.

works fine here - and finally solves the bluetooth WinXP SP2 problem of being able to force the open serial port.
