Hi,

cant seem to get dialup of gprs workin on my k700i on bt mobile. A few people have mentioned they have it, i'm sure i saw the settings on the carphone warehouse website....they didnt work when i tried them anyway

no config list i have seen yet include the APN to use anyway!

can anyone post the full settings for a k700i?

i am on Bt Mobile (uk)

have seen a couple of people here who have posted that they have gprs workin on thier k700's on Bt Mobile. There is no mention on bt's site of gprs wap.

I donn't know anything about this network,but I think you should start by calling them and ask if your SIM supports WAP/GPRS.
If it does,ask them for the correct settings.

although BT Cellnet changed to o2, a new company has started called BT Mobile (antoher branch of BT) so it wont be on the o2 site.

Im having the same prob with my o2 SIM and k700i, and was begining to wonder whether it could be that maybe the software on the handset needs updating. What you think?

First of all sorry for my bad english!
Second,here in Romania,I subscribed 2 yrs ago to a GSM network(monthy payments,not the prepayed SIM).
When I start using WAP/GPRS with this SIM,I first had to call and ask them to ACTIVATE my WAP/GPRS service,and only after I did this,I could use my phone to surf the net(even if tou have the correct settings that doesn't mean that your GPRS is activated).I'm sure about that!
But I don't know how the prepayed SIM works...

yeh, i ahd to phone up aswell, but they say it has been activated, but i am still not having any luck with GPRS or MMS. :S

In the romanian forum,one of my compatriots have a similar problem with a t610,and I just remember this:
~95% of romanian prepayed SIMs don't support wap/gprs , just wap,so you have to put in the phone only the wap settings,not the wap/gprs(they are different)
