ive just upgraded to pc suite 3 and every time i try to sync with out look i get "synchronization failed" any ideas?

Sorry if I'm hijacking your thread, but I am also experiencing problems with the synchronisation. I can sync everything but the calendar. It says "Initiating" but nothing happens. I upgraded to PC Suite 3, but the problems persists. I can sync notes and contacts though.

Andy: Nope, no offline mode here! I doublechecked and it doesn't work neither in offline or online mode.

Do you have more tips? Please....

I managed to fix it! I chose Detect and Repair from the help menu. Now it works!

ermmmm i dont have a P900 but i do have a computer. When ever i update a driver for my computer (like a graphix card or soundcard or somthing) and it doesnt work i just go back to useing the other drivers.

Cant u just use the old software? Im still useing the software i got with my P800 and it works fine.

yeah i turned off the firewall but it made no differance.

Bobby: It is under the Help menu in Outlook. I am not sure it would help you though, but it's probably no harm in trying! It took just a few minutes and after that I could again sync my calendar to the phone.

I've also been experiencing problems syncing my P900 to my Outlook. I suspect it has something to do with timezones, since I just moved to the US from the Philippines. I changed the settings on both my P900 and my laptop, but everything in my calendar seems to be 12 hours off. When I set everything in Outlook to the right times, I get the same appointment in my P900 12 hours late. For example, if I had a meeting for 1:30 PM Monday, it would show up as a meeting from 1:30 AM Tuesday.

I suspect that I missed setting something to the right time zone, but I can't figure out where I'm missing it.

Hello,
Can you tell me where to look in the Help menu in Outlook?
I have searched for words like 'detect' and 'repair' but cannot find the option you mentioned. What Outlook release do you use (Outlook 2000?).
