Guys, I remember, that s1 asked for help earlier, but do you have experiences with sending video to other phones? I am able to recieve videos but when I send it to other phone, nothing comes to other side. Tested phones: 6230, M65. I have R2L firmware. This message was posted from a K700

I presume your sending via mms yeah? How big are the videos? I know some networks have a file size limit so maybe thats why?

I send the video by MMS, And it was only a short sequence of around 5-10 sec but i think i could make it longer if i wanted. I also recived an MMS with video from that NEC phone and it work fine

The same here..when i send video from my K700 to N6230 it won't work but when i receive video from N6230 it work fine on my K700.

guys i discoverd why?! because all videos created by users for K700 was 3gp with container : video codec MPEG-4 & audio codec AAC ,this only work on K700 and N7610 not on N6230 with this container.
but if the 3gp file created with container : video codec H.263 & audio codec AMR , it'll work on both K700 & N6230 ( N6230 only can play 3gp with container H.263 & AMR ) , which means that K700 more advanced on playing videos than N6230 and this point counts for K700 over N6230 .

i love my baby K700 .

so i think any phone can do it if u send it through mms

Yup, I guess it all boils down to the video format being sent - 3pg and the MPEG 3-4 ones? Here in Manila, it is quite abnormal not being able to send images and videos having 2 different local networks? Say, if you are with SMART (network), you can only send MMS and vids with people who are with tha of the SMART network as well! Definitely you just cannot send MMS and Videos with GLOBE (network) and vice-versa . . .

sahran - so fine, well done mate, but how does it solve my (our) problem? As far as I know, I can´t change file format on K700i... and I don´t want to convert it in pc everytime I want to send video...

Orange Slovakia supports 300kb size of files sent by phone via mms, but max size quarantied is 100kb...
