Hi!

Just purchased a SE T230 for my mom, and as a T68 user my feeling is that the display of the phone (T230) is pretty poor, even compared with my T68; I had to set the konstrast setting to -10 in the "hidden" servicemenu and also adjust the kontrast setting in the display menu just to get a resonable/viewable image/display, but still i the quality is poor. To T230 owners: whats your view of the quality of the phones display, is it a fact that the display sucks or is it just my phone?

Thanks in advance!

Have the same experiences, according of t68 265 screen the t230 is poor quality, played cam an hour long, no chance for an acceptable result, t68 is so bright and sharp. This message was posted from a T630

Using a cam on a 230 is blasphemy. You never can transfer the pictures to a pc. And lot help its 800kb of mem is going to do. The cam when attached has a very wierd lag rite? This message was posted from a T230

Come on, T230 can't be compared wid some higher order fones bcoz its in the low range. It only has 4096 colors. U can decrease the contrast to -2 or -3. This ll make sure the display is bright n clear and also the pixels r nt too dark. if u further decrease the contrast the display becomes dark and pixels become more visible.

It is true that the pixels r visible as such but not due to low resolution but the increased external screen dimension. But one thing is it is more visible in the sun than even t610, i have compare it. But i dont kno abt t630 n k700i.

N one more thin T230 s the last SE non-camera fone 2 be manufactured n it ll stay like tat.

Guys, for a low end phone, the T230 is a great buy. And with the communicam, one can take pics at 640 * 480 which is the same as a 6600! Even the T610 and the 630 takes pics at lower resolutions! What more do you need from a low end phone? Only thing to complain is the screen which could have been better. This message was posted from a T230

Though the screen resolution of the SE T230 is far much better with that of the SE T68i mate! I guess . . .
