> k500i vs k700i (help - facts needed)

A friend of mind is planning to buy a k500i. I was comparing it with mighty k700i. He is of the opinion that the only difference is with memory, i think it is more than that. How much does the k500i have? It isnt there in the phone index. What are the other differences? Camera? Screen?

I have both phones in my hands right now... first, don't fall for the 14 mm promise... it's just on the bottom part. The phone is actually thicker than the K700i.
To answer your question: There are more changes than just memory. 1) There is no radio 2) Battery life in the K500i is far much better than the K700i.

its not only that. the screen resolution of the k500 is 128*160 and that of the k700 176*220. the memory : huge difference k700 has 41 mb . the k500 only 12mb

Correct indeed... but maybe the difference in the screens resolution is the answer to why the K500i battery works twice as long as the K700i. The difference of the screen aint that big when you have the both phones in your hand, but the difference in battery is...
Memory is great for pictures and bad for mp3... but so is the K700i (for mp3 that is).

indeed, when you look at the size of the sceen, there isn't much difference but the pixels of the k700 are smaller, that results in an better immage and you can display bigger parts of pictures with a higher resolution. the resolution of the k500 is the same as that of the t610. a t610 user once send me an image , you could see much more of the image on my k700 then on the t610. it really makes a difference... yeah.. it ist very positive for you battery-life but I dont mind charging it a little more.

u 4got one thin BLUETOOTH. K500i DOESNT HAVE BLUETOOTH. Both k700i n K500i have IR but K500i doesnt have bluetooth.
