> unintended formating of the MS Duo?

ok. so i took some pictures. took out the ms duo, popped it into a card reader, transfer images to my mac, then remove the ms duo from the card reader (un-mounted it first, DUH) and popped it back into the phone.
suddenly ... no more ebooks.
i fool around, try different things, and notice THERE IS NO MORE DATA ON THE MS DUO !!!
everything is gone.
so, i'm sure it wasn't the mac, because there's no "format memory card" option that i could have pressed by accident. what the heck happened?
anyone else have this problem? it's the first time it ever happened to me. my DVD database is gone, along with some other things i did not necessarily back up.
(i was sort if in the "memorystick is a pretty good backup" mode. obviously, i was wrong)

that happened to me aswell.
when i put the MSD back in it didnt display anything that was meant to be on there, but it did give me the option to unistall all of the stuff....no idea why it happened though
