My P900 dropped in a loo, took it all apart, now it works only when on charge or when I hold power button? Any idea what could be wrong? When on charge I dont have 2 hold power? I dropped it in sea once & it was fine, damn im clumbsy...

hmm maybe u should get a neckstrap for youre fone?

it sounds like a trip to the nearest SE service point. do u still have the warranty?

Hope there was only water in the loo..

There's no real telling what kind of damage you could have done to your phone, the water could have damaged the parts of the processor or other integrated components which may not manifest the faults right away.

Best to go down to the SE service centre... (and buy a nekstrap, wriststrap, etc etc..)

How did you get it out of the loo? Warranty becomes void if you drop it in water. This message was posted from a T230

I dropped my P900 phone once onto the pavement, it bounced but there was no visible signs of breakage, nevertheless I have since invested in a new carry case and take extra care when ever I handle it (using the wrist strap for example). I doubt I would be so lucky a second time.

i always keep mine in the case that came with it. i like that case a lot. also, whenever i use it for calling, typing, whatever i always put the wriststrap around my wrist. same goes for my digital camera.

i like to be VERY careful with those things. and i don't care how offended they may get, but i rarely let anyone handle them.
