Hello,
I often use the communicorder in flip closed mode on my P900 for quick pictures. However, they always save to the internal memory. I know i can go and move them, or open the flip and change the location to the MS card, but is there any way to make it stick? everytime i close it and open it again, all the pictures go back to the internal memory.
does anyone have a solution for this? i know on series 60 phones you could specify which folder pictures went into, please tell me P900 can also do this...

I just tried it in (virtual) flip closed, and it didn't save to internal memory. I think if you go to communicorder in flip open mode and select the destination folder from the folder list, then in flip-open mode it will default to the same folder.

hmmm that works because the app is still open so it remembers the settings. but if it closes (like how sman flushes everything on flip close) then it doesn't seem to save the change....that sucks. oh well.
thank you for checking nevertheless.

Someone once mentioned that you can't set a default folder with the latest firmware, but I have my doubts.
I have KeyMapper set to quit the current app using the Internet key. Once I select a folder in Camcorder and quit, it remains as default. Maybe Sman does not do a "proper" quit. Select a default folder and open as many apps as you can, until the system closes the Camcorder, hopefuly remembering your settings.

My P900 used to save the pictures and videos to the location I defined, but after the last firmware upgrade (I do not recall the version number, and my phone is being serviced) it started resetting this location each time I enter/exit the CommuniCorder software...
Any ideas?

The problem started with firmware version R5B02. It was discussed in this
thread before, when the new firmware was released.
