what happened to the Z500, I've not heard anything of it - it looks like an interesting and fun phone but did it go so bad for it?

I recall reading somewhere that it has a STN display.. anyone can confirm that this *hopefully* isnīt true?
I mean, even in Sweden we have summer, and i like to be able to see the screen all year
