In Windows when you want to launch a program you have to click the .exe file. Is that possible to do with Symbian. Or in other words can I launch an app from a file manager by clicking the Symbian equivalent of .exe

I've tried opening .app files with other file managers but I got an error (something about not recognizing the file). After your post I tried with Sman and as you've said - Sman opens the app. Still I cannot open it with other file managers. So I guess it's not possible unless there's a third party app (Sman in this case) that's programed to do it.
