R2A has bad bluetooth implementation. In most cases you can't send successfully, in worst cases it causes your phone to hang. You can receive though. I would suggest a firmware upgrade first.

I've never had a problem with bluejacking or connecting to bluetooth devices or syncing via bluetooth etc etc using either R2A or R2L so I don't know what this "bad bluetooth implementation" is about

just do it and I am sure it will work

Theres nothing wrong with the K700i Bluetooth implementation AFAIK, but there is the connecting bug.. which will easily be sorted by SE in a firmware update.

Hmmm, so the K700i R2A firmware doesn't have a bad bluetooth implementation, "but there is the connecting bug.. which will easily be sorted by SE in a firmware update."... I'm confused.

Anyway, there's no harm in trying.

I have the K700i with the R2A firmware, sim-free. I never have problems with my bluetooth. I bluetooth back and forth, to and fro my computer and also to my brother SE T616 and everything always seems fine. I only turn ON bluetooth when I'm exchanging info; most of the time, it's in the OFF state.

The thing that annoys me about my K700i is the lagging between menus/screens. Anybody knows if the latest firmware fixed this problem???
