Hi,
Just got my k700i yesterday and im gonna get the FW upgraded today, i just wanted to know, where are these images stored in the fone:
I know that they are used for MMS, but i dont wanna set my mms up yet, because im leaving for South Africa (to live there), tomorrow. I just wanted to use them as wallpaper etc. and also, when i send my fone in for a firmware update, will my numbers be deleted?

your numbers are not deleted when you upgrade the firmware and those images are stored in the firmware and not accessable except in messaging
I suppose you could email them to yourself, receive the email in the phone and save the attachment to the picture folder. Never tried it myself but it might work

I really appretiate this, masseur, u said that thoe pictures are stored in the firmware, if i get the firmware upgraded, does that mean they'll go away?

These pictures arent for mms but for sms. You can select them when you are typing an sms.

I'll start you off... you cannot rename files while they are in the camera folder. you have to first move them to the pictures folder. you cannot then move images back to the camera folder
no you will not lose those images in the upgrade. they are still there on my R2L firmware
Bianca is right, those images in your first post are only for sms so unless you have the ability to send an sms as an email you won't be able to use my suggestion
