I've heard in another forum from a person supposedly somewhow connected to SE that all the P910 are beiing collected by the S.E. due to an imperfection or bug in the compatibility of the Hardware with sofwtare installed.

Someone have herd similar news around?

this is the reason given to me for the delay in shipping one to me by two different shops that I preordered my P910 with

I don't know any more than the fact they were told by SE to return any they had

apparantly SE said they would get some new ones out quickly and I have today also preordered one with clove technology who are expecting some "this week"

I've been using my P910 for a few days now. Haven't noticed anything abnormal. There have been no slowdowns/resets etc. either.

yeah, I just assumed it was a fob off when one shop said it but when another said it next day I wasn't so sure

I guess they will become readily available soon enough

One thing that strikes me as odd as to why would release the P910 in India before places like UK/Australia etc.

Maybe India is a small market for such a premium and in case the phone has initial defects, the problem will be on a very small scale.

However, on the other hand, a large no. of accessories are still not available in India months/years after they were launched.

Sweden too? The homeland of Ericsson.
I have had mine since tuesday (september 7) last week and I have not experienced any unormal.

Anyway, the phone is Made in France. = Quality?

SE really needs to tighten up their quality department.

Phone is not made is France. Most probably China. There's no "Made in France" tag on the box at least.

Price is India is about Rs. 38000 (approx USD 825). Incidnetally, this price is lower than the initial price of P900 when it was launched.
