> My k700i housing replacement guide (56K no)
Bookmark topic
For this new guide I will use the spare housing I have as a "beautiful assistant" - you will see exactly what I mean when you get your phones open ;o.
All info is in the images and it's all basic, if you dont understand a bit try it first because more than likely whenyou try it it will all make sense..
NOTES: - be careful with screwdrivers around the k700i, the lens and pcb are delicate, scratching them will mean a costly repair!.

the warranty may void yes BUT since there is no need to use a screwdriver nor leave any tell tale signs or fascia changing or fascia removal you should be safe
it's only if you remove or change the middle housing case that problems will arise since the middle bit has the imei and model stickers on the rear!

Yup, no difference in quality at all, in fact the new housing somehow (i can't explain houw) feels a bit more robust too, the brushed metal rear cover feels a bit more brushed too
