> K700: beep once then vibra

Hi,
being still a Nokia owner (going to be a K700 one asap), I'd like to know if K700 allows to have a Silent prifile with the following:
- one only Beep (Beep Once Nokia style)
- then Vibrating (continously)
- SMS or any other incomings: the same
It's quite an important thing, for me, having that while in a silent place: in case u don't "dress" your cell, u can still hear it without having a disco song disturbing anyone.

I am not sure (too lazy to perform tests) but if u have vibra on, then it starts vibrating as soon as the call comes in. So u can have a bip but vibra at the same time. Not sure though.There's no diff'rence if u ask me

The phone canīt do this by menu, but voicecall can be fixed. Not sms.
To do fix this by voicecall just make one ringtone by your self and itīs done.
I done this since P900. recorded one tone which is all quite and people i think is annoying I put that tone on ;o)
When they call it will be all quiet ;o)

for 701: 1 beep together with vibra it's perfect: the important thing was to have ONE beep while vibrating till answer; not necessarily one AFTER the other..
for marcus_129: then, assuming that the "BEEP song" can be built by myself, how is the most silent SMS tone SE offers with K700??
Alternatively is it possible to switch SMS tone off and having just a small vibra time for that (voice calls as above, instead) ?

But there is a way - if you search a bit here in Esato, youīll find thread "Make your T610 like Motorola" or something like that and there is a link on program which allows you to make own ringtones using combinations of tones, pauses and vibrations which will certainly solve your problem.
Itīs designed for T68i, but it works for other phones too (*.imy ringtones)

It seems to me quite important to come to an end of that question:
is it possible, by using a PC or by directly using the K700, to have a single tone (like beep) then following, let's say, 20" of vibrating?
Don't bother if after that the beep is re-played!
To do that you (Atlis) say I need a "tone+vibra composer". If I should answer of my own I'd imagine:
well, let's enable both vibra and melody (as 701 said)
after that, the last thing is to have a "one beep then silence" melody, not involving any command to the vibra (bcoz already set up).
Am I wrong?

You need to get creative. Figure out how long your phone will ring before it goes to voicemail (or whatever diversion you have set up). Assume it's 20 seconds.
Make an mp3 that's 21 seconds long of ALL silence, except a beep in the very beginning. Assign it to the profile you want, and turn on vibrate. Your phone will beep once and vibrate continuously until you answer or voicemail.

Just a note: WE are lucky becoz K700 does play mp3.
But... what about a simpler phone (e.g. T610, T68)?
In that case the solution must be found by using imy, or something else...
Moreover, having some Voda K700 circulating (no mp3 ringtones), your solution is praticable, but I struggles to have something more generalized.. >:->

I know, it's a workaround. But workarounds are one of the benefits of having a higher capability phone. And I've read that the new Vodafone firmware allows MP3 ringtones (but I can't find the bloody thread now). I don't think there's a general solution though.
