Since the K7 online updates are now operational.....

Just wondering if any BRAVE soul out there have tried to de-brand their K700i???

I've read somewhere (maybe on Esato) that people start the update with a non-branded K700i, then pull the non-branded phone off the cradle during the process and switch to a branded K700i.

I have a sim free, non-branded phone, BUT I wouldn't mind reading some horror and/or success stories on this Esato Forum. Keep me entertain....

its almost certain this won't work as people could originally do this with the P900 update but soon figured it out and it didn't take long for them to stop that ability.

I am sure they will have applied the same tests in the K700 update
