Hi,

I have a SE K700i. In some of the menus there are web shortcuts (links to web content eg ringtones) that are pretty easy to accidentally select and then get charged for GPRS.

How do I disable these web shortcuts, or disable GPRS altogether?
(but without deleting the GPRS settings).

There is an option in web services, wap profiles, select profile, then under connect using select always ask me. (I hope it is there in the k700i too) now accidents are less likely to happen. Warm Welcome to Esato. This message was posted from a T230

thanks govigov, but the K700i doesn't have that menu. I've looked under >Connectivity>Internet Settings>Internet Profiles and also >Connectivity>Data Comm.>Data Accounts but there doesn't seem to be that option.
