I would like to know when you upgrade your K700i firmware what do you lose???
contacts, SMS, MMS, Themes............. So anyone know what stays and what goes???

You can do the upgrade on the update site without problem, just be care to follow the instructions.
As Masseur said, you'll only lose Joystick shortcuts from your setting, and a few options (auto save on sim).

I did my upgrade a week ago at a service centre but a couple of people have reported the same when doing it using the online update
