Hey peeps, jus been browsing on the se website, found this rather beautiful looking fone on the japanese site (shame i cant translate it!):

They also use a 2G technology called PDC. That Sonyericsson SO506iC is PDC, and SE have never been asked to make a WCDMA phone for DoCoMo.

As far as I know in Japan it's a law that does not allow any new tehnology to leave their country before they used it about 2 or 3 years,I'm not sure!
So ,in tehnology,you can say that they are 2-3 years before everybody else .You'll not see phones,dvd players,digital cameras etc like they have !!
