> why the IR turns on and off continuesly?

I'll appreciate in advance for some help....after load so much apps in the phone i busted the memory....i lost every contact, app, some other the register was lost. the phone totally collapsed.
but a major damage noticed was the IR was steady, turning on and off and on....I was trying to reload every app back on my P800 when i noticed.
some friend toldme to take the phone to a service center to have a "factory flash" or just flash the "CSDK or CHDS...-or something like that!-
Does any one had to go thru this experience? Thks again

And failing that, then yes, take it to a service centre or phone repair shop and get it's firmware updated/repaired. I took my P800 to a Carphone Warehouse (large mobile phone chain in UK) to have it's firmware updated, it took two weeks from them, but the did it for free and the phone worked a whole lot better after this process.
