I need some help here!
I've downloaded a lot of games and applications for my K700i,until I've got the message : 'Memory full. Please delete something....etc '
The strange thing is that I have 28 MB free !!
I can still download and save anything else(mp3,3gp,gif,pictures,..etc) but I can't get any jar files(software or games) because I have this strange message!
I looked in File manager at the memory status and it showed as I sad 28 MB free, games : 7.1 MB, applications : 449 KB, and the rest up to 13 MB pictures, themes, videos and mp3 files;so about 7.5 MB of jar files. That's all!!!
Did this happened to anyone else?
Is there a limit on how many MBs of each type of file(jar,mp3,3gp,thm,mid,..etc) you can save on K700?
Does anyone know anything about this?
P.S. I have R2L so it's not the FW to blame(I think so...)

to mike_k7:
i also have a similar problem but mine started after using the online update service for the K700i. i updated my K700i to the latest R2L version but now the phone refuses to save any incoming file (pics, tones, mp3, 3gp, games, etc.) because the memory is full. i did a master reset and now have 42MB free memory but still the phone says memory full. i went to the online update process once more just to be sure that i really got an R2L version for K700i but the problem persists. i just came from a sony ericsson service center and had my phone reflashed but to no avail. the service center is now trying to check if there is another R2L version online so that they would use this to reflash my phone. i'll come back this afternoon or tomorrow because they're still downloading the file. btw my language pack is TAIWAN. what's yours? did you also get your phone upgraded to R2L via the online update? pls keep me posted if you've found any solution to our "memory full" problem. thanks.

I've loaded mine with almost everything that my fingers came across with . . . and I still got 10+ MB left, though I would nit like to hit rock-bottom, as my fone won't work anymore! I am trying at least to leave some 5 MB of free space - eventually! Better have your fone replaced dude if it still has a warranty!

@ayush- My clefone tekkie advised me not to . . . as when I make calls, sms/mms sending or even browsing at my fone , there should just be some 'space' left in it's internal memory. Some even advised me here to fill the brim - but I just don't want to take any risk mate - it's better to be 'safe' than 'sorry' -as they say !

i think jn's right...
phones have some sort of dynamic memory thing that requires some free memory to use its applications.
jojo... fill it to the brim and see if it's slower!
i think it will be. (its true on my t630)
