I use a K700i, I have sent short video clips by MMS to a Nokia 6600. He recieves the MMS but when he tries to view the clips all he has is sound but no picture.
Not compatible with the Nokia you say? OK, so how come when he sends me clips by MMS they come out fine, with picture, sound & all?

Also when I send clips by bluetooth to his phone they go through fine sending & recieving.

I know S.E. K700i uses 3GP for clips so my question is, is it compatible with non S.E. handsets? I don't think the Nokia 6600 has 3GP format with clips so how come I can receive clips from that phone by MMS fine, but when I send MMS to the Nokia it has no picture?

Everybody I know has Nokia so I want to know if it's just my phone or it's a general problem!

P.S. By the way I am using R2L001 - More than happy with this excellent phone & firmware.

the clip coming from the nokia will probably be mp4 format. as far as i know the k700 should support mp4 format , try getting an mp4 and sending that via mms n see what happens.......although i may be wrong!

No, I've tried to send a recieved clip from the Nokia back to the Nokia but still won't work. On the plus side, I've sent an MMS clip I filmed on k700 to my own number to check if my phone receives it ok and it works.

Maybe cause the 6600 is older than k700 and k700 has the newer playback format - get with the program nokia!
