> k700i - low volume when speaking
Bookmark topic
Hi guys new on this forum
I've just recently switched from 8 years of nokia cell phones to SE and have purchased the k700i.
I seem to have a problem with the volume when speaking to people. I can hardly hear people, even on max volume. I've tried suggestions from other forums i.e. drop volume then increase it ..but I still can hardly make out what people are saying on the other end.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

Tried a t630 2 days ago and it didnt have the same voice quality as mine, there are diff between fones, depends on the manufacture. Its pretty disturbing, k7 isnt a cheap fone. Thats the result of the mass production...

Turn on speakerphone! lol No, really, you should go to service, coz when I speak with someone, my ears hurt me when sound is on max. That is your phone problem only.

I am having this problem as well - about 1:20, but does happen when I am only in public places, such as malls etc. But when I am at home, office, secluded areas - I alway use the fone's - speaker fone feature!

Hi guys,
I have had this problem as well a couple of times. I turned the phone off and on again and it seemed to fix it.
Could it be a firmware bug? I have R2A041.

It could be fw too, but mostly its the earpiece defect imo.
