Does any1 have an idea as to what has happened to Google on wap? As of this past w/e you no longer get the wap version but the web (pc) version on ya phone. Have they stopped support for this? I have sent them an e-mail asking this and no reply yet. A pity, i use it alot. Thanks for any help. This message was posted from a Z600

i am still able to use it, in fact, i did last night. Are you talking about the kind that changes any regular web page into a wap page? if so, then just use this link on your phone...
http://wapsearch.google.com/wml?hl=en&wmlmode=wml
at least that is how i have it saved, hope it helps!

The page was just plain text with options like, search entire web, search entire mobile web, number web, and goto url. Very simple and it worked. Now it is more similar to pc version, u get their header plus options like groups, pictures, feeling lucky search etc. The web version not wap. Can look at it but when using it, said is always to large to be sent back to phone. Iv been using this for past 6 months or so, so know that it is different now. This message was posted from a Z600

yeah, the only option on the one i have is to search the entire web

EDIT:scratch that, use this link www.google.com/wml If you select "options" on that page, you get all of those things that you are talking about

Thanks mate, tried ur link and that is what i used to have. They must have removed the link i had. It is most useful for finding sites that work well on phone, best for downloading from mobile web. Thanks again. :-) This message was posted from a Z600

Just now tried the xhtml site and none of my searches work, it returns 'something is wrong with the page you requested'. I'll stick with the old site, it works the best. Thanks thou. This message was posted from a Z600
