hi all,
i've jsut bought a new memory stick and i want to now start using it to store my SMS and mail as this seems to be what is clogging up my phone memory
any one got any idea or pointers on how to change the messaging app to use the external memory ?

I don't recall seeing a way to do that before and even in the P910 where you can create your own folders they can only be created on the internal drive

yeah p910 has 64mbs of internal memory if i am correct so you probably won't have any problems with sms and emails

from a guick read it doesn't appear to relocate where the mail messages go though, you have to manually move them
is that right?

I have the folder manager in my C:, so i really havent moved the sms to d:... but it u shud be able to if u installed it on the D:. and therez an automove option whch i never use

There is an AutoMove Settings in the SMS Manager menu... u can specify senders from ur contacts whose sms' should be moved and and to which folder...
