New Boy on this Forum, So Hi there Boys and Girls.
I've been reading all about the 900 Sony Ericsson phone and the 910i model. And I have put in an order for the 910i. I will be getting my phone this coming Thursday from Carphone Warehouse. There was one thing that disturbed me, that the demo model 900 that they had showed me had a fault. The screen did not respond by tapping it. I hope this is not a concurring defect on the 900 or the new 910. The guy in the shop said the phone had been batter around a lot. But all the other things seemed to work OK. So I let you know if I have dun the right thing.

@Dave

The P910i is a wonderful package - and you do need to spend time learning how to use it, which means try to read the manual. Also don't forget to charge the battery for 14 hours before use - NO don't be tempted to just try the phone when charging, you'll have to wait one more night, sorry!

...although the manual, written by the manufacturer, says 4 hour initial charge

but I guess we've had that conversation enough times already

all Sony Ericsson downloadable manuals from the support site certainly say 4 hours. I know because I previously checked every single one in a previous discussion of this issue

to be honest I never read the paper manuals but I would have thought they would say the same

@ masseur - I am sure I speak (or in this case write) for many when I say we are eagerly awaiting your review of the P910i...
