Hello,

I cannot make it work, well not everything at least. The phone asks me to whether to start or not to start the remote control about every 5. second...If I answer yes there comes remote control screen to the phone. If I answer no the after 5 second the question prompts again to phone screen.

I have paired with password the bluetooth connection at start - control panel - wireless link - bluetooth. There comes connected and last seen text below the K700i bluetooth device at wireless link - bluetooth. The connected text do not stay and after 5 seconds the text switched to last seen text...at the same time at the phone prompts text 'take the remote control to use' 'Yes or No' or something like that.

I do not want to use remote control...just to send and receive information between phone and pc...and I would like to use bluetooth gprs connection with my laptop.

None of the SE programmes cant find the phone, I really dunno what to do.

I have win xp SP1 and a laptop with Microsoft bluetooth desktop connection.

i'm having the same trouble. After some hassle getting it to work with FMA at all i finally connected. Then i uninstalled the useless program which came with the BT dongle. Now i've restarted and windows has recognised and paired with the K700, but i cant connect with FMA because every 5 seconds exactly the phone asks me " Start remote control? yes or no ". I only want to connect using BT and FMA to transfer files!

I've solved the remote control ever 5 seconds problem. Select your K700 from "devices" on your laptop and go to properties. Look under services. Uncheck the option for "Drivers mice, keyboards etc. (HID)" so it's no longer selected, this should stop the option for remote control and will no longer keep prompting you to do so.

I think now the other tasks you were trying to do will be possible, as the BT can only be used for one thing at a time - the remote control was hogging it all!
