hi there...just got my phone, recharged it for god knows how long and over the last hour or two i've been trying to get the blumming thing to connect to my pc thru the little docking station thingy...now i've got it so the connection is established on the right com link but when i go to change phone there aren't any fones attached???...
i'm confused...
would appreciate any help...

although you have titled this as a P910 problem in fact the problem is common across other Pxxx phones and is more to do with the sync software. It seems to be tempremental depending on what else you have installed on the pc because many users have no problem while a few do

A firewall can also be the problem.
When I had my p800 it worked just fine when we had no firewall. But when we rebooted the computor and installed a firewall it did not work.
I installed PC suitel like I had done before but it didn´t connected

Well, SE has a couple of programs that require that you poke a hole in your firewall these programs have access on my 'puter:

Product name Symbian Connect

right...i fot it so its says its connected in the phone connection link but there are no unknown phones to add...why is that???...has anyone else had this problem???...i want it to go away asap!!!...

thankyou so much residentevil...the link unabled me to learn that the problem was panda wanky shit antivirus crap software that was causing me the hassle!!!...its working now...thankyou very very much!!!
