Greetings!
Has anyone here the same configuration?
I have several problems:
* The phone does not switch to Handsfree mode upon insertion
* I cannot use the voice dialling/answering at all
Any help/workaround is welcome.

I am u sing a T39 but bascially it have the same software as R520m have. The problem according to the kind service point in Malaysia is that HPM-10 was treated as an accesory in T39 and therefore when we plug it in, the phone didn't auto change the profile to Handsfree and tht's why you cannot use all the voice dialing features. Even you are in Handsfree mode i think you cannot use the voice dial features right?
Well i face tht problem ever since I change from T20 to T39. My wild guess is that T39 and R520 is having too many features in it tht certain uncommon features was left out like this nice features for the HPM-10, as HPM-10 isn't a really sought after item.
Before I flash my T39 from R2K to R3A it can't even show proper character on the screen to show the track I am playing

You right, I cannot use the voice operation at all with HPM10.

It does not change the profile over to "Handsfree" but everything works ok.
If I press and hold the Button on the handsfree mic, I get the "wait until tone......" msg, I then simply say the relevant voice tag and it dials...
If i get an incoming call I either say "Answer" or "Busy" to either accept or reject the call.
Sorry if I am stating the obvious but ...
Have you enabled voice dialing, assigned voice tags etc
sorry I cant offer anything at present, let me know if ur still having probs and i will check my settings for you

anyway i still donno why but i guess you still can use all those voice dialling and answering features because R520 have speaker phone or you get the latest firmware?
Well to be honest, I didn't use the voice function or test them after I get my T39 flash to R3A since I didn't use it often and it drain my battery fast....what I like most on the flashing work is tht now I can read all the text on the file name. Tht's all, well should really try it and if its work then I should said sorry to give wrong info just because of me being lazy

The only strange thingy is that you cannot hear back voice commands when the recording is going thru the handsfree...
