Everybody says the hardware between the P900 and the P910i is the same, except for BT and more memory.

But I've been reading the posts and I noticed everyone says the new P910 seems faster compared with the old P900!
On the other hand, most P900 users that did the firware upgrade to P910 say the phone seems slower with the new firmware.
Also, people is reporting that the instalation of applications is faster.
And finally, the new phone has less battery time than the old one, with means it spends more energy.

I think there are too many coincidences here

I think the P910i has a faster processor, faster memory or both!

Anyone with both phones, care to make a benchmark and solve this mistery?
A math+memory benchmark should be enough.

Ask handymobilez uk on here. He can do the update.

Installing SMan & checking SysInfo should prove what processor is in the P910

having used a P910 for a week and using my second one for a couple of hours this evening I am confident when I say that there is no, or very little, performance difference between the P900 and P910.

I say this based on using the built in phone functions in general and also watching movies

Actually, I had no expectations of any performance difference after reading the Official P900/P910 comparison

Even if the processor is the same, if the new memory is faster, then the phone should be faster overall. Right?

OK, I believe you
I've been busy the last 2 weeks reading posts in this newsgroup deciding if I should buy the P910i since it's so expensive

Anyway, about your post. If some people that upgraded the P900 report the phone feels a little slower, but the real P910i does not seem slower (with the same firmware), this means the real P910 is faster.

I have read that P900s on P910 f/w may run slow but the problem is solved with a Master Reset & Format Disc so if this is the case then it's not a hardware issue.
