Hi, i had problems getting the settings for GPRS, MMS etc for my K500i on Virgin Mobile (UK) as neither Virgin or Sony Ericsson have the automatic settings available yet.

I did find a suprisingly simple solution for any reading this with the same problem:

use the automatic settings service provided by virgin here:
http://www.virginmobile.com/mobile/services/settings/index.jsp

you will notice the K500i is not in the list, however if you enter your phone as a K700 the settings will be sent and they work just fine.

i would assume that the same applies to other networks- the K700 settings should be exactly the same.

I hope this is of help to some of you K500 users
