Hi,

Many thanks to all those who posted the proxy settings on here, as i got it up and running within a matter of hours. If anyone is stuck then www.filesaveas.com may help to fill in the gaps.

Just wondering about the restrictions on what traffic can come through. Did these restrictions apply to O2's official free gprs?

I can't seem to access ebay from a standard log in?

There were also a couple of other sites which seemed to have http login pages yet said that my cookie settings or browser didn't support it.

I saw a post here, where someone claimed to be downloading from bittorrent via proxy but have not seen how they acheived it.

Would it be a good idea if people posted sites which they can access via O2 gprs and/or any http proxy access points for other sites?

Also, before O2 started charging for standard gprs, someone said that they could get it for free in spain. Has anyone tried the proxy settings abroad, and what are your experiences with it?

It doesnt let you ise cookies, so ebay login wont work, and it was me who said you could use it in spain, but they have started charging for NORMAL gprs now, not the proxy server... so my guess is probably yes to the sbroad question...

To be able to use cookies you have to use a dial-upconnection.

Also to use Msn messenger or other messengers you have to use a dial up connection aswell.
