If your contract is with Vodafone. Just call them and ask how much for the P910 - a friendof mine just got his from a Vodafone upgrade for £100!!! Bargain!

You will probably find that the vodafone mobiles they give out on upgrades are unlocked, but its best to double-check. My p900 was unlocked.

these days is getting much harder to unbrand phones and even after 3 months its still not possible to unbrand a K700 I believe.

the point is, don't buy it and count on getting it unbranded because you could be waiting quite a while

also remember that even if you are able to unbrand it you are still restricted to waiting for vodafone to release firmware updates as you will not be able to use the generic firmware update with the online update since it checks the phones IMEI and knows from that if it was originally branded. Not sure if it will be possible to update such a phone at a service centre though

If you got your contract through phones4u then you will be with Singlepoint. Vodafone shop cant do the upgrade for you. You will have to go to Singlepoint direct. I have received a T610 from them as an upgrade last year which was unlocked and unbranded. They told me at the time that all their phones are unlocked and unbranded.
