> No pictures with Orange Wap

When I log onto Orange Wap, I dont seem to get any photos, just text. This only seems to happen if I use a mobile phone that is not on the Orange network by default eg... any mobile not on their website. I have checked my settings and allow pictures is on. Can Orange tell what phone you are connecting with and if so, is there anyway round this annoying problem?. Thanks for any input.
ps This always happens when I use my Orange sim card in a sim free phone
