Im really getting annoyd here i used the synch station allot and it workd just fine till i reinstalled Windows xp and now everytime i insert the usb i only hear the sound of a usb connecting but dont see a mssg. and also there is no connection possible to my phone. i tried reinstalling the Suite but still didnt work so maybe someone here can help me?

1. Did you download and install the USB drivers from the SE support site?
2. Turned off the firewall?
3. Using PC Suite 3.0?
4. Not using USB hub for the connection but a USB on the PC unit?
5. Tried a different USB port?
6. Uninstalled any Moto Symbian or Palm sync s/w?

In adition to the info @Jah asked from you:

Do you see the "arrows icon" in the system tray?
Right click on it and first select "change phone" - do you see anything
over there?
Again, right click and now choose "properties" do you see the USB
connection? Is it checked? if not check it
Now go to the Control Panel --> System --> Hardware --> Device Manager - click on the "+" near the "Universal Serial Bus Controllers"
Do you see DSS-20 or DSS-25 over there?

You have to install the DSS-20/25 (depend on what you have P800/P900 or better look at the bottom of your cradle)
Go to:

and download & install the driver and restart your computer

Do you see now the USB? is it checked?
Do you see the DSS in the control panel?
Now Put your phone in the cradle
do you see "p900-tray-icon"? yes? that's all
no? right click on the "arrows-tray-icon" ---> "change phone" -
what exactly is written over there?
