> Help! - K700i froze on bluetooth

Well, after bragging about my perfect K7, the phone froze on me.
Trying to transfer some stuff to my computer via Bluetooth and the K700i froze with a screen saying "Connecting." It is stuck on that screen. I tried to turn the phone off - nothing happens. I pressed all the buttons - nothing happens. I disconnected my Bluetooth device dongle (whatever it's called) from my computer - phone is still frozen. It's stuck on that screen that says "Connecting."
What should I do??? Yikes!!! Please help. Will popping out the battery hurt the phone etc.?

Popping the battery out is perhaps the only way out. I don't think it will harm your phone.

Aaahhh, f--k it. After 30 minutes, I stuck in the battery recharger to see if I can change the screen to "Optimizing charging." Nothing happens. Didn't even recharge at all.
Then, popped out the battery. Now everything is back to normal.
Sheesh, scared the shit out of me. I guess it's time to update the R2L.

First time my K7 froze on me during the bluetooth session. I'm still on R2A.
Before, the only thing that was wrong with my phone was the "random lagging (~2 sec) " when navigating the menus/options. I guess if it acts up again, I will have to upgrade to R2L. Right now, I just don't want to cough up the $25 bucks for the firmware upgrade. Still searching for friends, relatives, distant cousins, etc. to see if they have a P900 so I can use their DSS-20/25.
Damn! I wish SE could have included the DSS-25 with the K700i package or something. Now I feel kinda ripped-off.
Does the S700i package have a DSS-25 or anything of that sort??? Man, with a ridiculous price tag like that, it SHOULD.....and then some...

Bluetooth can freeze if you try to transfer stuff before the fone has finished searching for bluetooth devices. best to turn on BT and wait a few minutes before transfering anything
