Some more that notice same thing as I ? That the picturegallery becomes slow to navigate after the update?

Nope, I haven't upgraded mine ! One of the cons - again for the upgraders . . . Oh boy, it will just never be perfected, the 'firmware' !

Yes instead of taking time to load all the pictures and afterwards get you in the folder, it gets you in the folder and loads only pictures you see on screen. It takes more time to load all pictures than it took when preloading (R2A)

Yes, mine is much slower now. Sometimes the thumbnails doesn´t show up before I move the joystick. Hope we will se a fix for this really soon.
