oh, yes SE does!
at least the Z1010 has up to 100m. but its not recomended to use that distance since it uses up alot of battery.
And most other phones dont have that range, and thus cant "reply".

confused here..

If I have a 100m BT and my fren has a 10m BT,
can I reach him at a distance more than 10m ? Say 80m apart..
I read somewhere else tht to enable the data transfering at more than 10m, BOTH devices must be supporting 100m BT....Can explain this stuff to me? Thx

@WeX Sorry to dissapoint you but the Z1010 doesn't have 100m...I believe its 15 or 30.

yes both devices must have the range as they need to "handshake" to be able receive/send objects. So for instance my PC has 30m whereas my ipaq has 10m, i cannot send stuff to my ipaq when it is more than about 8m away (inc walls).

Though there was a thread where a pc connected to a t610 over a huge distance (about 1km i think). but as far as i am aware, between phones they can only communicate at the distance of the smallest range of the 2.

Another thing, if I have a 10m BT and my friend has a 10m BT too..
Wht is the maximum distance we can be sperated apart?
Is it 20m (10m+10m, shown in figure below) ???

no like said the units have to connect to each other. You can't connect to a unit from more than 10m's away. radio waves can't talk to each other, the phone has to send the radio waves which need to be recived by the other phone.

10 Metres
