Be interesting to see what if anything they have done with the firmware.
Got myself a SIM free P910i from CPW on Friday as I was sick of waiting for Orange to pull their finger out and decided that long term there will be less hassle with the update service using a non branded phone.

im on orange and had a my p900 on contract for a year in novemeber.
what do you reckon the chance is of me getting an upgrade, possibly for free. My bills are usually around £45 a month so im not sure......

No idea - I know the P900 firmware is only lightly modded - ie startup shutdown images and a theme so I wouldn't expect much more on the P910i.
Even if the firmware is only midly modded it will still need Orange approvals for the update service to update firmware though which is why I decided to go SIM free.

Im on an orange corperate account through my father and I have just got the P910 from a P900(that i upgraded to in May) and they diddnt charge me for it. But they also offered me an SPV m1000 for free which the normally charge at least 249 for.
On the branded issue I dont have an orange one, as orange gave me a voucher that allowed me to get one offline from CPW for nothing as orange have not got it out yet and i busted my p900 for the fourth time so instead of replacing it they gave me this voucher.
